User define functions in MySQL

Hi!
I'm creating a databse and have a rather complicated search function that needs to be implemented as a UDF. Are these allowed? If so, how are they uploaded to the server?
And on a related note, are JSPs and Java Servlets available? Again, if the are, how are they uploaded?

I don't think JSP is supported here. Correct me if I am wrong. (Although javascript can definitely work).

Java Server Pages (JSP) is not supported here.
To request a file extention to be allowed you need post in the support area, why you need it, what errors you get without it uploaded, what the extention is, what script it is for, confirm that you have tried to modify the script to work without the extention (you must do this), and attach a copy of the file(s).
