[XHTML/HTML] Experience?

How much experience do you have with HTML/XHTML? Why did you decided to learn it?

Personally, i started learning HTML back in 2002, when i was asked to make a clan site for an online game i used to play.

well I can read most of it and do some editing to it, but I don't know it fully, I have picked it up over the past 8 months mostly

I know quite a bit. Took a class on it and have been working on websites for quite some time now. The only problem I have sometimes is arranging tables on a page lol I didn't pay attention during class at that time lol

I have been learning for about less than a month.

I started about.. 5 years back when I found expage.com. I was able to learn basic html, but still have the little WYSIWYG editor as well. Since then I have moved on to doing it from notepad. I use frontpage and similar programs for image maps though.

Right now I usually just use a CMS and modify the CSS to suit my needs. Though I still prefer writing my own html and having more control when I dont need to worry about having user accounts etc(I dont know php :P)
