Ok, either i was really bored, or really wanted to see the nice sites you guys all made.

so im holding a competition to see who has the best HTML (including php) website. (excluding flash, sorry).

How did Kewlchat win?? Not trying to be rude here kewlchat but your site is a bit too "wordy" and ugly to me. That's just my opinion though. Don't take that too seriously just wondering how he won...

Your looking at a test page im useing to test key words ect.. for seo i changed it after the judgeing. i switched them out cause i wanted to make that one the main page of the site.
This is the page i had up during the contest it was htp://kewlchat.org see i moved it to my main directory awhile ago and then put one with key words for that chat.html directory. Anyway thats the link for the one that won with. i just had put one up after with alot of key words cause i thought the search bots was getting ready to crawl the site lol. , i didnt think id win so i was doing an experiment and changed that directory lol , thanks for voteing me winners guys :d i really apreciate it. I think the yellow one is the one i had up during the judgeing thats my best one ever :) I shouldnt have changed things so soon after the judgeing sorry for the confusion :P

Well I'm sorry for the way it was posted, I didn't mean to make it sound harsh.

Also, what community? This one? What I think you guys should do is maybe make it a ten post requirement on your forums to get hosting on here. It'll liven things up a little and get more posts going. Some might stick around after a while :)

That's how I've seen it set up at many free hosting sites as well and they're doing pretty good :)

We do not force users to post in order to get hosting. And we never will. From what I have seen you don't get as many quality posts as you do junk that people post so they can get hosting.

I know this competition was supposed to be fun and all, but it really does seem that the winner was picked at random. No offense, but there were clearly better sites that deserved to win.

the other sites were mostly templates (i can tell because they still have the template site name on them) and Joomla or e107 sites.. his was the best of the hand-made ones
