Do you guys want this forum (as a whole) to be active? Basically I always thought of this as a "Support Forum" as a whole. Just wondering if you guys did. If so I recommend adding a few more sections for people to post in like a gaming section, sports, entertainment (where users can talk about what's going on in the TV world lol), humor, etc.
I'm also spreading the word of this site. Have been for a while now due to the great service here :)

What types of forum structure would you like to see here?
Anyone and everyone can answer this.
We will take the best ones and put them together to make the best forum we can.
For example, here is what we have now:
General Forums
-General Chat
(Discuss anything that does not belong in the other sections)
-Scripting
(Programming related discussions only)
-Graphics
(Anything about graphics goes in here)
-HTML
(Website/HTML Forum)
-Flash
(Flash Related Discussions)
Web Hosting
-Help & Support
-Hosted Sites
(Advertise your hosted sites here ONLY for sites hosted by UnlimitedMB)
-Unregistered User Forum
(Unregistered users may post here to ask questions about our services.)
Submit your ideas like that, and don't forget, we dont want any empty topics, so the only areas we will add are ones that will have active discussions :)

Well, Proboards Support is more of a community, but a support forum at the same time. I'm thinking this forum should be like that as well. Rather than an advertising section, make a "Get Opinions About Your Site" section.
Also, have things like a debate board, and similar ones that people will post regularly in. :)
I think you should probably remove the "General Chat" from this section and rename the section to something else like "Website Design & Development" (As in just remove "General Chat" from the "General Forums" section and rename the "General Forums" section to "Website Design & Development"
Make a new "General Forums" and under it add in something like a "Welcome" section where users can introduce themselves. An "Off Topic" section where anything else would go (just random talk), an "Entertainment" section where users can talk about TV Shows, Movies, etc., (maybe under the Entertainment or a new forum itself would be a "Video Game" section for people to talk about games :))
Oh and a "Technology" section for people to talk about Tech related things. Like PC's for example :)
Once something starts getting too big, branch off and give it it's own forum. :)
Just my ideas on what to add :) I'm sure it'll get people talking more =]
General Forums
-Introductions
(New to the forum? Why not make your first post in here and tell us a little about yourself!)
-Off Topic (or "General Chat")
(Talk about anything else that doesn't fit under another category in here.)
-Entertainment
(Want to talk about your favorite shows/movies? Discuss some of the hottest bands out there? Come on in and do it in here! [Videogames can have it's own subforum under this, or just add in the information here so people can talk about video games under this section if you don't think a video game section would be used much.)
-Technology
(Found out something new about a new gadget out there? Want to talk about some tech. type stuff? Do it in here!)
Website Design & Development
-Scripting
(Programming related discussions only)
-Graphics
(Anything about graphics goes in here)
-HTML
(Website/HTML Forum)
-Flash
(Flash Related Discussions)
Web Hosting
-Help & Support
-Hosted Sites
(Advertise your hosted sites here ONLY for sites hosted by UnlimitedMB)
-Unregistered User Forum
(Unregistered users may post here to ask questions about our services.)

An IRC Related catagory would be cool if there is enough interest i know id post alot and help with any irc server/scripting or mirc scripting related questions :P
And the Website/HTML could be Website/html/php lol
Also a *Afiliates exchange* catagory under the advertise your site would be cool where other members can offer to exchange links with other members.
And a SEO (search eng. optomization) Catagory would be awsume so members can help each other to learn how to boost their rankings in the searches.
Another idea would be a screen shots section so users can post pics or screen shots of their desktops or programs.
also a Rants section (similar to the debates idea somewhat) might be cool ive seen them on other forums alot you know where if some ones pissed about something they saw online or anything they can voice their self or blow off some steam in the rants section.
And last mabye a toutorial section where users can post toutorials snippets or list rescources to help newbies with webdesign or common questions
I know thats to many ideas to implement and dunno what everyone would think about these ideas or what ones would be approprate.
Overall the forums nice how it is but some new subjects would be cool these are just a few of the ideas i thought of.. My most wished would be IRC or SEO prob seo being the most helpfull topics lol but i dunno if others are interested in those things..

I agree with wwe, but I think you should also add a CSS area(since CSS isnt really html or scripting)

I really don't believe you need a seperate board for each language. I mean, currently, every coding related board combined only adds up to about 450 posts. If you still want it split up, split it into Server-Side Scripting, Client-Side Scripting, and Computer-Based Programming.
I would be active in, and even willing to mod if the activity becomes great enough, the coding boards, and the general board.
Also, i think you should have a General Graphics Discussion board, and a Graphics Battle Board.

I just said a CSS section because Cascading Style Sheets dont really fit into html or scripting..
Anyways whats a Graphics Battle Board?
What areas would you (all) be active in?
I'm pretty sure they'll all be used but if they aren't within 2 weeks (or less) you can always just remove the section :)

Exaclty what it sounds like ;) One user creates a thread challenging another user to a battle. The thread creator states the battle info(image type(banner, sig, avatar, freestyle, etc.), and all other aspects the user wants). The other user chooses to either accept or decline the challenge. If the user accepts, then they create the graphic, then post them, and users of the forum vote.
I don't think there'd be much use to a Graphics Battle Board to tell you the truth...
We already have a Graphics section, so maybe people can just use that for a while to show off images for sites, or just random sigs they've made. Then if the "battles" become popular, make a subforum for them.

This board really needs more forums.
1)A General unrelated section to talk about anything.
2)A place where we can post up our website.
3)A competition section. e.g website(s) V website(s) or graphic(s) V graphic(s)

I'm just wondering if you have come to a conclusion about changing the forum as of yet? :)
How about allowing us to have avatars? Remote or uploaded?
