[HTML] How do you put on a template?

I made one I just do not know how to put it on so I can write on it like a normal template.

What dose .swi and .swf mean? Template I don't get it

Thats extentions for flash files. Flash templates arent to good in my opinion and hard to edit.
Try to use html templates its simple and best for beginners..

*And if your going to edit an .html template right click open it with and select open with note pad on your pc and just change the words around then save as index.html upload it to your main directory.*

Thats how i learned everything i know searching and reading and experminting with different stuff.
Good luck keep at it and youll be a webmaster in no time just remeber most basic questions can be found by searching google :)
