ftp.ulmb.com (ftp://ftp.ulmb.com) is the ftp server. ulmb.com does not have the ftp software, so it wouldn't work.
Actually I used to use ulmb.com and worked just fine...

Have you tried another ftp client? if all your information is correct the only 2 things it could be is ulmb or your client(I have never had problems with connecting)

I've already tried all these things, so just to stop suggestions that i've already tried: Different website, different program, different computer, different host(worked). ;)
I really need to get this to work because i need to upload a new skin, but i want to backup my site first. Yes, i know the file manager has a backup feature, but that doesn't save the directories.
Thanks for the suggestions so far, though.

Is a problem with your firewall.

Is a problem with your firewall.
That's odd, i have no firewalls running right now  Alright, i'll try it again and let you know how it goes. :)

You may have software or hardware firewalls.
A software firewall could be an anti-virus program or a real firewall program, while a hardware firewall could be as simple as your everyday router.

Hmm, nope. I've disabled all software firewalls, and right now i'm connected diretly to the modem, no router. Unfortunately, it still isn't working. However, i will tr it with another computer and see how that goes.

Well, that's odd. I just tried it on my mom's computer again, and it worked. Do you have any idea what the firewall problem could be? My antivirus/firewall is completely disabled, Windows Firewall is disabled, and my router's firewall is disabled.

I have no way of seeing what it could be, you should contact the company that made the computer

It wouldn't be that, since it worked perfectly up until last week.

It is obviously something with your computer if it works for everyone else and it even works for you on a different computer on the same network.

I agree, but i know that it is a software issue. Thanks for the help so far guys, but i guess i'll have to figure this out on my own.
