Ok guys I followed one of the many links I have recieved to correct my problem. I made the database as instructed in one of the tutorials as seen below;
MySQL Database Settings
Connection Settings:
Database Server Name: mysql
Database: 4930_props
Username: 4930_props
I then finished the tutorial by making the needed tables as seen below;
4930_props (8)
Additional Information
House Share or Owner Occupied
landlords
Other Information
Rooms in Private Homes
Tenant Utilities
Terms
Unit Information
The tutorial ended with making a database and tables but not what to do next or what that had to do with making my site work..?
Now I have a database (4930_props) and tables but no clue where I am in the process now.. I am more lost now then I was when I joined ulmb?
Grovelling again........
Please (sniffle) help me, so I can leave you guys alone...
Sniffle.......

I was told that I wanted to leave the email idea in the dust and utilize mysql and phpmyadmin. So that is how I went from email form to database form.
Wait what exactly are you trying to install? o_O

Just a little helpful hint, if you keep all of your posts to once topic (too late now, but for the future) then people will be more willing and able to help quicker. From what they have read here it tells them nothing about what your trying to do and they have to put forth the effort to search and find out what your trying to do.
Just an FYI for those who didnt catch it, this is a continuance of another thread, but I am not going to join them because gmrcvt does not want to have their posts "overmoderated".

I am trying to get http://gmrcvt.ulmb.com/gmrcvtlandlord.html to work.
When I press the submit button nothing happens.
I want to be able to get the information fille dout in the Landlord Application. I would like to have the listings viewable by my clients but that is wishful thinking at this point.
I found a program; http://www.open-realty.org/download.html
which is FREE and said to be easy to use and install... YEAH RIGHT!!!!!
What open-realty does is what I want to do.
Ya know if I had gotten an answer for this problem already I would have upgraded my account here.
FYI, Tyler your very helpful and I thank you for keeping your threads untangled and support accesable. :D

http://www.open-realty.org/support.html
They should be able to help you install it.
http://openrealtytest.ulmb.com/index.php
Download it to your computer, upload it, go to the install directory and follow the steps.
That was the easiest install I have ever done.
To make it even easier you can login to your control panel and upload the whole zip file, it will say error because a few files wont upload but you dont need those, just ignore the error and continue.

A. Set Permissions 777 on the include/common.php file
B. Set Permissions 777 on the images/listing_photos directory
C. Set Permissions 777 on the images/user_photos directory

I would recommend going into command prompt, and doing the following:
Note: _ means enter
FTP _
open ftp.ulmb.com _
mysite.ulmb.com _
mypassword _
cd Location-Of-Folders _
chmod 777 Name-Of-Folder _
repeat chmod for any files you need. Or you can get a free FTP client from Download.com and usually it will be on the right-click menu
meant to post this before your last post...

I think I almost have it! I am at the configurator. What is my homepage address? It isn't www.gmrcvt.ulmb.com/index.html
That was the old one.....

I got it!!! Thank YOu to all that helped! If this goes smooth in July I will be upgrading accounts! Hope I don't have to do this all over again if that happens.
Thanks again Tyler and everyone else who put up with me and answered my calls and grovells of frustrations...
Wow well I came too late :p lol Well good to see you got it working :) Also I suggest not posting so many times in a row next time lol Just edit your posts. But good to see you got it going :)

Good to know that you got it working. Don't be afriad to try it, the worst that can happen is that you can mess it up and have to delete it and retry the install.
