Files not displaying

Hi

Am new here and was just trying to upload my index file. I tried both html and php and both show in the file manager but show 0 KB's. Both were saved in lower case and the account has been activated. What is ging wrong that the files won't display despite the files showing in the file manager. I know when I use the edit link it shows the page but won't show it when I try to access the page directly from my browser and not in editor.

there's another posting (recent to this one) about the ISP refreshing a cache (-ish, I skimmed)... are these related?

The cache isn't the case though as this is a new site so nothing was replaced. But when I lok in the file manager it shows my file index.html or I also tried index.php and both come up with erro 400 pages. Both also show 0 KB's as it it's an empty file even though both have code in them. Just doesn't make sense when both run fine on my computer and on my primary website as I tested it there afterwards.

It says 0kb because probably your html file is less then 1000 bytes.

The problem is corrupted dns file, if you reset your account it should fix this. May take a few hours before you notice anything though.

I'll give that a try. Also just so anyone responding knows this is a new account opened this morning in case it jogs any other ideas.

As for size it is a small file at the moment.

That didn't seem to work I reset and tried uploading and it gave same error 400 so I reset again left it alone a few hours and tried again and same thing.

I'm getting a server not found on your page, hold on will try to upload something.

EDIT: I've tested it, uploaded fine for me, may be the free accounts only though.

I've tried both FTP and browser uploads. At least I know it's not just me. :(

It seems to only be happening with accounts created recently, as all my sites work perfectly, and i'm still on a free account (Until July 7th ;))

I tried resetting also. Same boat here. I don't upload files at all. I've just been writing code in the site's editor... short hello worlds to test... (that work else where).

How're you guys getting an Error 400, what're you using? I don't get any error, it's acting for me like it doesn't even exist.
