I am trying to upload (publish) a group newsletter composed in Nvu. This is supposed to be achievable from within the program (not using the site manual browse/upload button). But the upload fails everytime. Is there a direct URL to my space that I can enter in Nvu to do this?

I can upload the HTML stuff using the browse button, but the .jpg images do not transfer and I have to go back to edit and plug them in one-at-a-time.

Nvu only suggests contacting the Web server manager for instructions if their program fails.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know what nvu is.
You should ask the program developers for support.

If you install scripts yourself you must ask the developers for support, we didnt make it and we dont know anything about it.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Guess I didn't make it clear that the Nvu program "publish" window wants the URL locatioin that the document is uploaded to. Every URL I've tried doesn't work.

Provision is made for host, username, password, etc., but the file bounces back as "invalid URL" for the upload address.

Can I use "http://account.ulmb.com/filemgr/upload/" ?

That's all I need is the URL location the file will be uploaded to.

Your URL is oaklandastronomy.ulmb.com

If you upload a file eg file.html then the URL will be http://oaklandastronomy.ulmb.com/file.html

Nvu is WYSIWYG html editor program like frontpage or dreamweaver . It can publish or synchronize html page made offline to remote server using ftp or webdav. Just enter ftp://oaklandastronomy.ulmb.com/ as url and you will be asked for username and password then enter your login details.
