View Full Version : [Flash] GIF to SWF converter

Alright, i used to use a free converter to turn animated gif's into swf's (for things i already created but wanted to switch over), but i updated it and it started adding logos to the final result.

Does anyone know of any that don't add a logo or anything?

Why would you want to change an animated gif to a swf?

ulead can do that open the gif file and save as swf.

Why would you convert a gif to swf??

If you arent going to use any of flash's functions then dont make your visitors use extra cpu to load flash applets when an simple gif will do.

Me and another staff member at my site are currently working on a program to allow SWF's to be used as screensavers. Once we have the program done, we will haave the program up for download, as well as SWF screensavers for them to use.

I have a GIF that i want to use as a screesaver, but don't want to redo in Flash. ;)

If you still have a copy of the individual frames of the GIF, maybe you could copy and paste each frame into a diff. frame while using macromedia flash? One way of doing it :)
