I remember seeing this thread quite a while ago, but now i can't find it. :confused:

So anyway, are you guys still planning on doing this? :) I think it will really boost your activity, and i'd love to help out in any way i can with it (Whether it be modding a few boards, or just being extremely active in them).

I think you should layout the boards like this:

Thats really close to what we have now. The reason we were looking into it before was because we were not sure if y'all wanted to talk about computer stuff like programming or things like movies or games or other things. If you flip what you wrote its nearly exactly what we have now, but with good descriptions.

But it's also more organized, and will look better. Because right now, you have a board for every type of coding, which really isn't needed. Right now, all these boards have very little post counts, making the forum seem inactive. If you combine the boards, and lay them out a bit differently, they will catch a user's attention more, and he'll/she'll want to stick around. :)

Good idea. :) I hope this gets good feedback, as i really do think it will help you guys get more activity, which means more money. :)

Maybe add in an "Entertainment" area to the forum/idea that cr0wonline suggested and that'd be good. :)

Entertainment would cover games, music, movies, tv shows, sports, etc.

Then if there's too much activity about a certain subject under one of these categories, give it its own subforum :)

It'd definitely get us all a little "closer" and get to know each other :)

Entertainment is part of the general board. ;) Rather than having a bunch of different sections with little activity, keep it all in generalized groups, then branch off if enough interest is shown. :)

If you look at the top posters, there are only about 15 regularly active members. Adding entire sections for things like entertainment when there's little enough activity won't really help the situation. :confused:

I think it'd be best to have an "Entertainment" board though. From what I've seen in the past, just having a "General" board doesn't really boost posts/conversations on forums.

Entertainment sections give people something to talk about. An idea basically. Most people are going to talk about their day and other random things in the general board imo.

Put in an entertainment board and I can guarantee you it'll get this forum more posts than it would by just having a "General" board take care of the entertainment section as well.

Well then it should be a sub-board to the general board, as it is a "general" topic. ;)
