I wanted to report that some users of my website have experienced virus protection popping up while using my website (riddle.ulmb.com). I hadn't modified the site since 3 days before the problem popped up, and I don't have any viruses/similar on the server - could the problem be with ULMB - has anyone else experienced such a problem? - or with a file being mistakenly recognized as a virus?
If anyone has any insight on this I would appreciate it.
Thanks
There's been loads of reports on this in the past. It's from the "Pop-unders/ups".
From what the Admins say is that the programs (anti-virus programs that is) are being screwy and thinking it's dangerous for your computer.
I for one don't know if it is or not, but the Admins here seem to have a strong opinion about this and say there's no danger, just the apps acting up.

The anti-virus applications are reading the pop-unders as a program being executed in the bakground without the users consent, which is why it is showing a warning. It's just a harmless popup ad, but the way the popup is appended is what makes the software react.

I presume the virus-thing has died down for a few days.... is it still occurring?

It isn't a virus, read above, it is a false report by certain anti-virus programs.
