View Full Version : Almost getting paid!
Yeah so I'm working at a cheese factory named "Sorrento" and I've been working my ass off in their worst department. Mozz Pack. Don't know if anyone knows of this but yeah, that's some hard stuff...
No one wants to work there and since I'm new they put me there. Can't really complain either....seeing as how I'm new and all.
Anyways, I get paid this upcoming Thursday/Friday! :D I went all last week (since Monday) working my ass off in that department and being tired, and I'll finally be getting paid :D
Sorry for the random thread, I'm just really happy :D
(Later on this means I'll be buying some domains from ULMB and maybe upgrading my package to something else :D Wooo!)

Haha, awesome. :p
How much did you make? :o
Well seeing as how I haven't gotten paid until Friday :p I don't know :p lol
I make $9.25/hour because I'm new, and so far I've worked around 36 hours (took two days off this week) and tonight is my last night to add to that. Should be another 11 hours or so added by tomorrow morning, so I'm guessing I'll have worked around 47 hours.
You do the math for the rest :p lol

Ahh, that's cool. :)
I work 10 hour days; never take breaks, not even for lunch. It's hard work, but it's worth it. :)
My job's most likely more tiring than yours though; i work at a woodworking company. (Wood is heavy. :() :p
I can barely work 10 hour days, and you're working 11 hour days. o.O
Yeah yours might be a little tougher than mine. We have to keep stacking 10lbs pieces of cheese inside a huge box. And we don't get one by one, it's by about 5 in every toss in. We have to arrange them nicely in there too and the machine never stops pushing them out.
We get two ten minute breaks (they're seriously really useless...) and one thirty minute lunch. Working sucks...
lol
I really want to get paid already :D

Haha, that's what i said to my boss my first week. He asked "So, do you like the work?", and i replied "The pay i like; the work...not so much. :p"
I just hope it's a decent sized check :D
I have to give half to my mom for bills and crap, and the other half is going to the bank. I have to save up around 600 dollars to give to my dad for fixing my car (he got a new engine....twice...and put it in twice. The first time he thought there might have been something wrong with the engine he got but turns out that wasn't the only problem. So he did double the work...)
But yeah
I'm also saving up so that me and my gf can get an apartment or something over here. It's like 500 a month I think....so that's good :)

That's pretty cool. :)
This year i don't really have anything i'm saving up for...just saving. :p
Saving's always good though. Never know when you might want something expensive :D
I think I'm going to buy a big TV by my next paycheck...
I hate my current TV...and my current remote. I try to turn it off and I just have to struggle with it because of the stupid button not working right....
lol
Wow....I just realized I'm really spoiled lol :D

Haha, nice. :D
Yeah, i'm gonna save up for my pilot's license. :)
Oh wow a Pilots license??? You know how to fly a plane? :O (I guess you would seeing as how you're getting a pilots license lol  )
Wow man that's like crazy to me. I don't like heights, and have never gotten on a regular plane, so flying one or being with only one other person in one would give me a heart attack lol
Wow that's cool man though  My life is boring lol

Haha, i'm afraid of heights too, but i'll fly a plane, and skydive. :p
You suck :|
lol
jk
Wow I'd never try any of that stuff. All that would kill me. My gf wants to go bungee jumping with me and I'm saying "HEELLLL NOOO" LOL I'd take a bullet for her any day but I'm not jumping off a bridge lol
I'll just stick to being at home and on the ground thank you very much :P lol

Haha, why not? :p You're just falling headfirst toward the ground, being suspended by nothing but a bunch of elastics wrapped together. :p
lol Paints such a happy ending
XD

Well if bungee jumping isn't for you, perhaps falling from 10,000 feet suspended by nothing would be better? :p After all, when you're that high up, if something goes wrong, you have time to fix it. :p And if you can't fix it, take out your cellphone and call who you need to. ;)
lol That makes it sound a whole lot better XD
