I think it would be very handy for you to install the GD library to your PHP installation, it is very worthwhile for things such as CAPTCHA's and won't do any harm to your server after all people aren't going to be happy if a lot of bots come to their site spamming.

Another thing is .htaccess files, they should be allowed as it would allow us to make our own error pages and do things such as mod rewrite, again doing no harm to your server, it would just add another feature to your hosting.

Theese features are very important in some situations and will leave your server lacking behind others.

Please consider the two improovements.

GD Library wont be installed because it would cause way too much server damange with people using it to generate massive image gallery icons, that would cause a huge server load and that cannot be done on a free hosting provider.
.htaccess is blocked because we need to be able to control people from hotlinking images and other files. If we allow .htaccess that adds a huge security hole in the server.
Sorry, GD and .htaccess can't be installed, we wouldn't last long if they were enabled.
