I'm leaving because the ad pop-up, and the 404 pages they basically advertise the ulmb site, plus with my new host I get a better... well, everything and more advanced user cpanel. etc... for free to. no need to pay.

They must get money from somewhere "the other host" to offer a better service they must do something. Such as adverts.Unless they are hosting you out of the kindness of their heart, if so. Expect your site to disapear soon.

Why you compleaning about 404 pages? They only show if your a bad webmaster.

I agree on this site, it whould be more beneficial to me if the ads where graphical based rather than popups. But im happy.

Free cpanel hosts are run by people with no hosting experience who dont know that once you get 500+ accounts a cpanel server starts to go slow unstable and crash.

They realize they cant make any money off 500 free accounts and dissapear.

*********.com thats my new host, and no there all not free, that have an ad hosting program, etc. I just choose the ad free untill (hopefully) my site gets bigger, then Ill choose there text ads. and for the 404 pages, still I don't like ulmb 404 pages.

Your host only gives you 100MB of free space without ads, if you want anymore then that they put ads on your site. They also don't give you any "ad free" mysql databases.
Not really an ad free host are they?

hm, good point but why'd you blank out the host? also 100MB is all I need, and it's not about the ads, it's about the pop-ups.

well its his choice everyone...if he wants to leave possibly the greatest host then let him its his loss...he might come back anyway...who knows all i know is that now i say "Long Live ULMB!" i love this site...sure they might be getting annoyed with all my questions but this is still the best host i have ever found. I found a host that gives you "unlimited" space...but guess what..everyone skips the ToS and in there you agree to pay for some odd thing that makes up for all your space i forgot what it was called...i never heard of it but like i said i love ulmb it is possibly the best host on the net.

I'm new to ulmb - I'm well pleased with the offering. I've just spent a little time getting used to the CP, got some free support, got my php app working perfic and as a result, spent some money with them and hey - no ads. I've already recommended ulmb to others and got excellent feedback. No turning back now. Competition? Wot competition? Good luck though hey.

Well, to be honest, I hate the annoying popups aswell. But the ulmb hosting is great! with MySQL Databases, FTP Managing, phpMyAdmin aswell. It's good.

One of the best hosts I have used for sure, besides the minor problems I have had on the forums, I would recommend this place to a bunch of people. Awesome prices, awesome space. =D
