I was thinking of putting ads on my site to make some money, which ones are good are bring in good money ? and which ones do you use..

i think most people use google adsense
i haven't used anything so i really couldn't advise or make and recommendations

It depends on how many and what type of visitors you have.
I would say that if you have quality people who will click ads use Google Adsense. If you have people who hate ads use popups. If you have tons of good content use something like Clicksor

Most people uses Firefox + Noscript plugin In order to stop activex loading and script popup (Clicksor) sometimes Google adsense.

You wont gain that much $ in ads. :(

yes, you won't get any money since the user won't be able to see any ads. *common sense*. you won't get that much money out of a single click. it's like a cent or under?

and the majority of internet users use internet explorer, not firefox. internet explorer still dominates the market, but they're in decline due to open source development.

Google pays a decent ammount of money per click, from what i have seen they can payout 5 cents - $35 or so per click depending on the keyword.

Most people dont know how to or just dont block ads.

For example they pay for every month right?
So let say you have 5$ already from the ads. But they only pay 30$ per month..

So "I think" that you wont get that 5$ in the end of the month, since they only pay $30+ every month...so basicly you have to reach $30+ in order to get the money in da end of month...

I don't know about google, i don't like it that u have to wait until you get 100 dollars for the minimun payout.

i use bidvertiser.com, they pay really good per click, if you have a good website, advertisers will pay upto 2 dollars a click and they show you the top pay per click ads.

and they pay through paypal and the minimum payout is $10.

So i use them, i like them alot.

well look at the total clicks and look how much money i got.

lets see, about 14 clicks and that was $1.50, i think that is about 8-9 cents per click.
That is good paying ppc.

And this is on my site, and my site does not get alot of hits.

honestly that is a good average ppc.:p

and have not got paid yet because they pay in about 10 - 20 days after the previous month.

like you earn $20 in march and then you will get paid next month sometime.

i've been doing good with google adsense so far i've made $70 and its only been a week but the total amount im making a day is going down and down, maybe its cuz of unique clicks ?

My google adsence raised up $40 in just 4 day and after that they send me a horrable e-mail........my account is band due to illegal click by some one.I know lot of people who experienced-->when the payment time is come near the google send that type of horrable e-mail.

Yup, i have implemented google adsense on my fairly new website, started january and in like 2 weeks i got 80 bucks as of now i have 105$ , but day by day users stop clicking on my ads so its hard to get money anymore... I was said that i was going to be payed out by febuary from google caz i reached $100... so i dont know yet. But i did get an e-mail saying that i have had some illegal cliks from my website and its a first warning, from now on if there was any illegal clikcs detected, they will compensate the money for that whole day...
i think i deserved that caz i clicked on the ads myself couple of times to cleck if it worked...

EDIT: and also forgot to mention, my average cost per click was about 28 cents , which i think is way better than any other ad campaigne... I hope i get paid though, if they do , then i will totally recoommend google for anyone!

The w3schools site attracts webmasters and those with computer knowledge, which are more likely to have firefox.

Regular internet users still stick with IE.

^^^That's considered illegal in most publishing companies. You'll get banned off there and not receive a cent because of the excessive clicking with the same IP.

Clicks 1,822
Total Earnings $215.66
Today's Earnings: $7.02
but i wont get my 1st check till like april 25th , thats with avg. 150 hits a day with around 20% ctr clicks. It would be higher if i used a higher paying keyword. Im gona upgrade and get a couple new domains when it comes in. Use the money to make money hell ya lol :cool:
note: And ya i also stay scared all the time from the many storys about people geting their accounts cancled. And about having my sites banned lol :eek:
But if you use genuine content and obey their tos i think your pretty safe.
ive recently been reading about konterra ads, anyone used them? they seem cool but i also read somewhere you need 5,000 impressions a week or something to qulify, i dunno im waiting for their support to email me back about it.
But for my vote adsense is cool but you should not use it as your sole income cause you CAN get bann easy thats why im looking for others that pay just as good, but havent found 1 yet.
