I am making a flash site that updates itself. I was wondering if I could allowed it to update by itself. It only updates every 2 minutes. Would that be okay?

Automatic reloading/refreshing of the browser window or of frames etc.. is not allowed.

It is not, it is a flash app that retrieves variables from a php file.

Thats still not allowed.
I already posted about auto reloading shoutboxes are not allowed.

You flash also uses up all my cpu when i view your page, you should fix this.

How about if I put a use-saving feature. Kind of like a screensaver for a computer. I will make it only a shoutbox, AND... ...It will time-out and not continue refreshing, UNLESS... ...the user clicks on a button that appear when it is timed-out. Is that a reasonable solution?

EDIT: I will change the time between refresh and time-out time to your liking...

You may only refresh the shoutbox in response to some user action such as clicking a refresh button making a comment.

even though the shout-box is installed on a forum? I mean like for example I use IP.B and install a shout box mod that's implemented into my IP.B can I have the auto-refresh on on that? or still not?
