Sorry, if you put in bad info it is considered fraud and we can not let you register for another account. (one account per person)

Well it's the truth, and on the top of the signup form it says:
Warning: Entering false or misleading information in this section constitutes a FRAUD and is a federal offence.

What are you, the FBI? Ever heard of the term 'forgiveness'? Are we not allowed to make mistakes?

If you prove yourself to be dishonest by trying to fool us with fake information, why should we trust that this time is real?

I really don't understand why it matters so much to you how correct the information is, as long as we're no abusing your services. True, if you say to give correct information, than we should give correct information, but many people aren't comfortable with this. Even so, the person's obviously sorry.

It shouldn't matter to them and people should never give out their real addys or phone numbers to companies, the whole thing is ridiculous. Obviously kids don't know any better?
There are so many ways of getting around these rules if one desires to do so. For instance, my IP now reads out I'm in Amsterdam which is totally untrue. I can appear to be coming from any part of the world. How are you going to prove otherwise, give me a phone call ? ;-)
Who's to say what they do with the 'correct' information they get. I have to wonder if their demands are even legal.

i understand both halves of the "argument" but it is a free service, and violations of the TOS is more than enough for them to deny you of their services. I understand about the personal info and safety consciousness, buti don't think this will change their mind as to give you another account. I could understand if you was paying.

We need your correct information to protect ourselves, if you upload illegal material like child porn on our servers we will give your name and address to the police when they come knocking asking for it.

If your doing business with a company why would you give them the wrong information? You are trying to cheat a company out of their livelyhood. If you provide us with the wrong information or you are using a proxy as the person above 'from ampsterdam' is then you wont have an account... notice that they dont have an account?

If you don't like providing your name and address then you dont have to have an account here, no one is forcing you to signup.
