when uploading the e107 cms, it says that this type of file isnt allowed

what file types are not allowed

then it says 227 entering passive mode and 202 8 bit binary code

i believe this is because the extension .htaccess isnt allowed

can you make that extesnion allowable

thank you

can you take off all extension banning?

this is getting really messed up...because there are several important htaccess extension files that arent allowed, then there are a no-extension file that is important that cant be uploaded....

you already have file-abuse measures with the 1 mb limit...extesnions arent necessary

We can not allow uploads of .htaccess files.
Extention limits are very necessary.

please man, e107 needs these files....

Try to set everything up without the htaccess. Usually scripts work without them and they are there 'just to be there'.

there are other files, not just the htaccess files..

there are several no-extension files on the server that have names like "ban user" and "submit news"

there are also about 20 .cc and .bb files

but i'll try it anyways...

I have allowed .sc and .bb files.

The no extension files are just documentation you dont need them for the script to work. We have no way of easily allowing no extension files without reprogramming.
