Name servers help

I bought the domain www.qssite.com through ulmb. I want to use a different hosting company (host gator) now so I changed the name servers to ns215.hostgator.com and ns216.hostgator.com. What happens is it will resolve to my host gator account but after visiting it once or twice then it goes back to my ulmb account. Is there any way that it can just stay on my host gator account?

It takes 1-2 days for nameservers to fully change over.
During this time some requests goto the old ones and some to the new ones.

Why are you changing hosts?

I'm going halvesies with someone else for paid hosting.

Besides the fact that thats against almost every hosts terms of service, ours is cheaper, and both of you could have your own accounts for less then they charge for 1 account.
