Ads remain after upgrade

Will ads eventually stop on an upgraded account (free > tiny) after a while or has some button got to be pressed at your end?
I deleted an entire subdomain, recreated just a simple index.html and the ads remain. A new subdomain does not. I'd like to keep the original name.

They steadily go away. Give it a little bit of time. Happened to me as well. :) Give it a day at most and they should go away :)

It can take upto 24 - 48 hours (usually alot less, and in most cases instant) it is just the way the internet is setup on how long it takes to change DNS.
