Question about one of ur TOS rules

Ok, I think I have been infringing someone's copyrigt (runescape) is it infringing when I put up their images on my site and don't give them credit for it? and if I give them credit for the image...does that make it legal for me to have the images? just wondering so I can correct my site.

These images are copyright 2005 Jagex Ltd. Jagex and Runescape are also
registered trade marks of Jagex Limited in the United Kingdom, the United States
and other countries.

You may use these images on your website only if you agree to the following
conditions:

a) The images must not be altered in any way, except for resizing or rotating.

b) You must visibily acknowledge that the images are the property of Jagex Ltd,
and that Jagex and RuneScape are registered trademarks of Jagex Limited, and you
must provide a link to the official http://www.runescape.com website.

c) The images or our trademarks must NOT under any circumstances be used on or
in conjunction with any website which encourages or helps users infringe our
terms+conditions or break our rules. Using them on a scamming, hacking, password
stealing, or cheating website is NOT allowed.

d) You must not use these images or our trademarks in a deliberately deceptive
way. Your website must not portray itself as an official RuneScape website.
Allowing you to use these images does not mean we endorse your website.

e) We may withdraw your permission to use these images at any time if we feel
you are misusing them.

Summary, yes. State that they are images under the copyright of Jagex.

Ok, thanks, I was wondering cause my site is a runescape help site and I don't want my account to be in any trouble because of something stupid lik not saying the images belong to rs...ill be sure to do all of that stuff listed. thanks a ton.

We not lawyers so we dont know specifics on what is legal or not.

If we are notified of something that is infinging copyrights (by the copyright holder, we ignore anonymous/unauthorized reports) we will remove it.

The TOS says you cannot upload any contents in violation of copyrights.
Whether or not your actions constitute copyright infringement is not up to us, its in your contract with the copyright holder (in this case runescape) so if you have any questions you should ask them.

State that the images are under Jagex's Copyright and stick in a link back to their site, and they'll be happy.
