First, download the latest MyBB package from the MyBB website, on the downloads page. After downloading the zip file (or the GZIP/BZIP), unzip/decompress the file. On Windows, if you right click on the file, there should be an option similar to "Unzip," referring to the file (if you have WinZIP, WinRAR, or a similar program installed, do as instructed by the creators of the software). Unzip the contents of the file to a folder within the same folder that the zip is in, such as a folder called "mybb".
Once the unzipping process is complete, you will need to upload the files to your server, which is discussed in the next section of the install guide.
NEXT SECTION:
With the files extracted from the MyBB package, upload them whole to your web server. Usually the files are uploaded into a subdirectory called 'forums', 'forum', 'community' or 'mybb'. However, it is up to you where you want to upload it; just remember where you have uploaded the files.
Things to keep in mind:
Make sure that the directory structure is kept. (ie. the files in the admin directory should be uploaded to a directory called admin, the files in the archive directory should be uploaded to a directory called archive, etc)
Make sure that you upload the .php, .html, .css and any other text file in ASCII mode, and that you upload the .gif, .jpg, .png, and any other binary file in Binary mode (see your FTP software documentation)
Once completed, simply open index.php in the install folder. If you do not know how to continue from there, please look at the MyBB documentation, unless the issue is hosting related.
Sincerely,
Victor

I'm sorry,
I do not host files for people on my account, and will not be assisting you with the upload. You are fully capable of doing this yourself, on your own account.
Sincerely,
Victor
This is a reply I made to someone else's post a while back. I went through the gist of how to get your forum installed. It's really rather simple if you tried it yourself. If you do, you'll be a lot better off in the future and won't have to keep asking. :)
Here are a few forum scripts that are free, just go to their sites and find the downloads of them:
http://mybboard.net/
http://www.phpbb.com/
http://www.simplemachines.org/
Those are the top three free forum scripts. Go into their "communities" to see their forums in action and what they look like. There are also skins for each forum, so if you don't like the look, just remember that there are other styles.
The two top forum scripts out there are:
http://www.vbulletin.com/
http://www.invisionpower.com/community/board/index.html
vBulletin and IPB are pay-to-use scripts though. You have to pay quite a bit of money to get them.
These are the steps to go about when installing a forum:
Download the file package. Extract it on your computer and upload the files to your site with an FTP Client. Either that, or you can zip up the group of files and upload them via the file manager in the control panel (this is a much easier way in my opinion. Remember to check the "Unzip files after upload" box though!)
Now create a database. In your control panel here on ULMB, there's a database section. Go in, give it a name and give it a password. Remember this information!
Now run the installation by going to :
"yoursite.ulmb.com/install/"
It really all depends where the install file is though. Sometimes you can just go to the site itself :
"yoursite.ulmb.com"
And it'll redirect to the installer.
Fill in the information during the installation. Remember that the host is "mysql" not "localhost" !!
Put in your database information. Username and Database name is the same. Password is what you gave it.
Just continue on with the installation and everything should go just fine. :) If you have any issues or need help installing a forum you have in mind, just reply and I'll help you out further :)
Hope that helps somewhat. If you need any more help, PM me and I'll try helping you out a bit more. Just try doing it though... I don't want to do it all for you...
I'll help you out as much as I can but you have to do it yourself. Just know that I'll help you out step by step if you really want the help and if you're willing to move forward and not just give up easily.
