I'm clueless when it comes to HTML, and very amature at the website stuff. I'm trying to work with Microsoft FrontPage. My site is http://esimorosia.ulmb.com/ I'm trying to get an embedded sound file to work on the main page. Some one suggested this piece of code <embed src="05_The_Larks_Melody.wma" loop=true autostart=true>
which is progress, but still isn't enough to make it work. If anything else is needed for helping me, let me know.

that code doesnt work because there is no file named 05_The_Larks_Melody.wma in your main directory. http://esimorosia.ulmb.com/05_The_Larks_Melody.wma

it could be possible that your wma file is over 1mb. there is a 1mb restriction.

That is why it doesn't work as it turns out.

Does anyone else not find it annoying when webpages play sound automatically?

I usually play music on my pc and i will close a site right away if it starts playing sound over what im listening to.

I fully agree. Its like there should be a global setting in Firefox or IE that all music must request to be played.
