Can't find an FTP client that can change permissions

I can't find an FTP client where I can change the permissions on config.php for phpbb anyone know how I can do this without using a GUI part?

YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHMOD ON THIS SERVER
You already have full permissions to read/write/execute because the http server runs under the same unix user as ftp.

o ok yah i paided for a hosting befor and it was like this thanks for telling me last time i had to reupload the files

you shouldn't need to chmod anything. Just skip the instructions that say to chmod and it will work. I installed phpbb a couple weeks ago with latest version and it worked fine skipping the chmod instructions.

P.S. Has anyone tried searching the forums for help before posting? You'd find the answer faster!

I'm too lazy to do that, if it's not on the first page it's too far back, you need to make a FAQ sticky on here and just post it all.

Soon I am sure there will be one, but it is still faster to just search the forums. It easier then posting.
