Trying to install a SMF bride with Mambo.

It gave me this error.

Fatal: Your system is running in Safe Mode component install is aborting!

I know safe mode is not going to be turned off, but is there anything I can do for that?

You could edit the source code of the program to bypass the safe mode detection.
