I need to use chmod on a php file to make it 644. I used FileZilla and it the change doesnt carry through. No warning message or anything just doesn't work. I then tried to use cmd prompt and it says chmod not a recognized command when I'm on the ftp server. Am I doing something wrong or is it something I need an admin to do? Thanks in advance.

Once you upload the files to the ULMB server, they are automatically CHMODed appropriately. You don't need to worry about properly CHMODing anything. You can simply continue with your script as you normally would.

I am using zencart and because I haven't chmoded a certain file I am getting a big red warning message that I can't get rid of unless its chmod'd.

You have to disable the warning message, usually by manually removing it from the script. I am not familiar with Zen Cart, so I can't walk you through the process. I will however take a look at the script myself, and let you know what I come up with.

I figured out a work around Victor. I changed a flag for the warning message in another config file. Thanks though you definetely pointed me in the right direction.
