ok what else is good?
Well there's-
Top Free Forums:
phpBB (http://phpbb.com) - Loads of Mods but they're a pain a lot of the time to add...
MyBB (http://mybboard.net) - Many call it a free vBulletin in a sense because it's a lot like it. Also has a Plugin system which basically adds mods automatically without you having to edit files like in phpBB.
SMF (http://simplemachines.org) - Honestly I don't like SMF myself, so I won't comment on it, but it is a good forum script as well. Many like it.
Top Pay-For Forums:
vBulletin (http://vbulletin.com) - A top Bulletin Board system. Powerful with loads of mods and themes. Well worth the money.
IPB (http://invisionpower.com/) - Basically the same as vBulletin. Loads of Mods, Powerful, and some great themes.

Thanks!
And vbulletin...how much is it and is it really worth paying that licence everytime a new one is out?
and for mybb:" MyBB is Moving!
The MyBB website is currently in the middle of being moved to a new set of webservers. We expect normal operations to resume within a few hours.
Download MyBB 1.2.12
MyBB Group "
An Owned License of vBulletin costs around $160. With this license you can run the forum on your site for an unlimited amount of time. You also get one years worth of upgrades. After the first year, you're going to have to pay $25-30 to get an additional year's worth of upgrades.
You don't have to pay for the upgrades if you don't want to though, but most of the time they contain bug fixes/security fixes. So it's better to pay up in the end or hope your first year gets the stable-est release :p
There is also a Leased License. It costs $80. You can run vBulletin on your site for up to one year. (You also get upgrades for the year.) Once the year is up, you either have to pay another $80 for another year, or pay $160 to own it already.
You can also pay the $80 first, and if you want to purchase an owned license during the first 3 months you can! You'd only pay another $80. :)
MyBB is back up btw.

I prefer Vbulletin over most of it but on a free scale phpbb and mybb is alot better than SMF if you have experience, although SMF is a relatively new software.
