Ok.. Well i read that and did what it said.. and i get an error.. file cannot start with a dot.. what now?


Any chance a admin can get on my account and do it for me?

Continue uploading and following their instructions. You cannot upload files that start with dots or do not have valid file extensions. It will still work, just keep following the directions.

READ before you post, seriously. You need to do a little leg work, we have plenty of people running SMF perfectly fine, you just are not putting forth any effort and want us to do all of the work. I personally charge $150 an hour, minimum billing time of 2 hours if you want me to do it, otherwise you need to read.

The sticky in this thread that says "Common MySQL Errors [READ FIRST]"
Will however solve the access denied problem.
