How can I download a file that I uploaded to file manager?

You click on the filename.

Sorry about posting in wrong forum but I didn't think it fit into any of the other categories but when I click on the filename it just brings up the file in the browser...?

Well you can save it.
You can download with ftp if you have many files or use the backup function.
