User Accounts

I'm making my website with another person, I just do not understand how user accounts work. I want to limit him from deleting stuff, making new websites etc.. But I and he does not know how to log in with them, is it just from the login page or something rather? Thanks in advance!

To login to a user account the user just logs in with your username and his password.
This goes the same for FTP, login with the domain name and user password.

Okay ive made an account. but it still doesnt work for FTP or anything else for that matter... after enabling FTP in the options.

then using Filezilla. putting the Logontype as normal. then

Username as - Ex. Admin.ulmb.com
Password as - Ex. Admin1

it still doesnt work. it comes up with authentication failed, whats going wrong?
