pdf files

Is there any format required to upload pdf fiels? The system is giving me an error message that says its not a valid pdf file..... I have attached the zip files with the pdf file...

Please add the file to a zip and attach to the forum so it can be checked.

I thought i uploaded the zip file, but actually cant even upload it here. it says upload error everytime i try it.
