wont extract .zip files?

Hi guys, when i try to upload PHPBB3.0.7, it tells me it cannot extract the .zip file, same with the latest version of MyBB, can anybody please help me? If it matters, im running a linux live CD
EDIT: Sorry, i put this in the wrong section, can an admin or mod please move this?

It's likely that the ZIP file is broken. Or that you forgot to tick the automatic ZIP extractor button

Hi im trying to reinstall the e107 sytem to my website agian after accidently deleting it and it keeps saying error extracting zip now i tried rezipping the file a number of times and same thing aslo tried downloading a different version of e107 and still the same thing and i did not forget to check automaticly extract box help needed please:confused:
