Hello,
I sent an email to someone earlier today, and ever since I've been receiving a "mail delivery failed" message every minute.
I've literally received 100+ messages in the past few hrs.
I'm not sure the original email never went through, but, my email box is now being bogged down by these delivery failed messages.
Is there a way to stop these emails from coming to me?
Here's a brief excerpt from the email.

Please post the full headers and body for at least two of the bounce mails you received .
You can omit the text of the email you sent.
Also, please check that your mail software isnt constantly retrying to send the same email and generating the bounces.

Here is the original email that bounced. I have sent two successful emails to this email address in the past few days.

Sorry, I mean the headers of the bounce error report you received, not the email you tried to send.
You can also remove the email addresses.

Oh...is this what you mean? this is from the top of the bounce error report I received.
What I sent previously was everything below this.

You have two different message IDs
1279594846.14 and 1279597932.9
These show your mail software sent two different emails.
So your mail software is sending the emails, and they are all bouncing, its not that you are getting 100 bounce to the same email.
Error 421 after message body also suggests the remote server did not like the contents of the email, probably it looked spammy.

Hmm...very strange. So how do I fix this so I stop receiving these bounce backs? I don't have anything in my outbox...the email was sent hours ago.

Hi, it's now been over 15 hours and I'm still receiving these bounce back emails.
Is there a way to block this at the server level? It looks like this is going to continue as long as I have ULMB.com hosting.

Emails are being sent from your PC, our server is simply responding to your request.
Problem is at your end not ours.

There was one email sent at 3:38pm on 7/19/2010. That is the only email that was sent. No emails have been sent since. For some reason I'm continuously receiving bounce backs.

Your PC keeps resending it to our server, our server bounces it back.
