View Full Version : Perhaps the About page needs updating
Our servers are located in one of the largest data centers in Texas.Well looking at this one statement then looking at my address bar if I were someone else I might feel like your providing misinformation, and thus lack trust in you.
A bit of context, I use a plugin for firefox that displays the reported physical location of the server, previously unlimitedmb.com was in new jersey and recently I see you have moved to Gunzenhausen, Germany.
Anyway I think that if you guys update some of the static pages on the site it might help build more trust in some of the savvier potential customers. :D

We are in the process of testing new datacenters, in different geographical locations.
Some of the servers are in new datacenters, some are in the old datacenter. We are planning a major update soon and will update those areas of the web site when the time comes.
We did make a major move a while ago from a datacenter in Texas to one in New Jersey, something that probably should have been updated on the website, but upgrades to the servers, new features in the control panel and advancements to our services took precedent over a cosmetic change.
Understandable, I just thought I should mention it in case it was something completely overlooked.

I see you wrote one already in the sticky thread, thanks :)
But on the front page there is not enough room to put them all.

Why not make a page for it all? :) Add it to the menu.
EDIT:
I got bored and made a testimonial page for you anyway lol, save time, eh?

Is there any chance can have the source to the page you made mafiaworld ?
so i can have a play with it and try to come up with some thing else (not for this site)?

All I did was view the source of the About page and copied the codes inside it, that's all.
But if it's not for this site, then I dont think you can as it may be a copyright offence.

So, what do you think? Does a testimonial page (http://mafiaworld.ulmb.com/testimonials.html) seem better than having them on the index?

My honest view on testimonials is that when they are posted on website controlled by the company they are representing, they are usually not worth much. While yes, all of our testimonials are 100% true and unedited by us, a lot of companies aren't as honest as we are.
It would really be better if everyone went out and rated us highly on web host rating websites. Those are sometimes non-biased sources that people can trust (usually though they are sponsored by a web host so they are just as bias as the host's website).
Just my two cents.
