Hi im trying to upload a zip into the file manager and i keep getting a error messege stating zip files are not allowed. I also noticed that i get a messege stating i dont have user permision to access my dns. I dont know if any of this is related but i recently deleted my site and am tryin to rebuild becouse every time me or any of my site members visited my site we get a opining ad from infinityads and then every couple of mins it bombards the site with popups. I figuerd it might have been something i downloaded so i deleted to restart but now i can not upload any files as i stated. If i can get some help on that id greatly appreciate it and any ideas as to why my site gets the bombardment of redirecting ads would also be a big help. As a matter of fact i cant evern reset my account says i dont have permission. Thank you for any response.:(

If you're on a free account, you will get a pop-up ad. It's supposed to only happen once per day, but I know that sometimes, on a couple sites, it opens one on every page visit. Idk why that is.
About the zip, again...if you're on a free account, if it's larger than 2mb, you can't upload it. I have no problem uploading rars. I suggest you looking into those, as their compression ratio is often a lot better anyway =/ A good one is WinRAR, but you have to pay for it after the 40 day trial.

Login with your main account password.
You are using a subaccount.

Please contact your administrator to obtain permission. And its not that i cant upload the file becouse i already have done so prior to deletion it i cant even click the upload button and it says that. i dont have a sub account that i know of. i cant look at my account details pretty much everything gives me that answer and i havent changed anything except deleting my website files no change on ulmb

I don't think that's true. I've uploaded ZIP files bigger than 2MB. I believe they allow about 10-15mb for ZIP files only.

He was using a subaccount.
In our control panel you can create subaccounts ("User Accounts") with more restrictive file type limits then our default.
So its possible that zip was disabled in his subaccount.
The subaccounts are meant to be used if you want to allow someone else limited access to your account, its not meant for the account owner to login with a subaccount.
That error message "Please contact your administrator to obtain permission" is only ever used with a subaccount restriction.
