WordPress MU

Trying to install WordPress MU...

I know we don't allow .htaccess...but the install wont finish without it...

Is there a work-around to this?...what else can I do?

Does it specifically error out saying that you cant install without the .htaccess? .htaccess will never be allowed.

Oh yah, I know you cant allow htaccess, understandbly so...

but yah, it will not continue without it...thats alright though...I'll find an alternative...

if anyone else knows of a free blogging program i can set up to let people set up their own blogs...let me know

You mean you ran the php installer and it complained about the .htaccess? that would be very strange.

If you mean that the file wont upload in ftp, just IGNORE it.

Why you want multiblogging interface. Try single blogging interface. There are many. If you love wordpress then visit www.wordpress.org to download it. You no need to upload .htaccess for it. If you need any help then just PM me. I will be there for you.

Sorry to say UnlimitedMB, the script will not complete without .htaccess. The script need it for multiblogging interface.
