Well, I installed a forum on my host and now I've installed the arcade mod. I've tried to install the games but it seems that .tar isn't allowed because it says transfer successful but it doesn't show up. So I figured it would be another file that you guys don't allow. Now, I'm sure you're familiar with arcade games files. They are all .tar or .gz (I think it's .gz but .tar for sure) and I can't have an arcade if you don't allow me to have tar files. If you can only allow it to one place on the FTP, I only need it in /arcade. Thanks guys.

You need to manually install the skin. Unzip it (untar it) on your desktop then upload the files.

It's not a skin, it's an arcade game. And there is like 6 different places i have to put them and I'm not sure where those places are. Is there any way you can just let it go? I'll show you an example of a game if you don't know what they are.

Upload the tar here, however it is unlikely that it will work the way you want it to.

Well, here is one of the games that I just uploaded for you on RS: http://rapidshare.com/files/1204810/game_ninjaturtles2.tar.gz.html On my old forum, you would simply drag the .tar file into the FTP at /arcade/tar and then I would go to the ACP to install it. But when I try to drag and drop the .tar now, it just doesn't appear in the FTP.

Edit: And now on top of all of that, I can't log into my FTP now.

you should be able to unzip/untar them, put them all in one folder, say, games?
then upload the folder with them in it, you can then acess it by your server, the directory, then the game.php file.
example: http://artevo.ulmb.com/games/3d_Net_Blazer.php

or in another case, the link might be different from the forum, not sure how this goes along, probally an option on your forum to install them?

You dont need to upload any of that in a compressed format. Its just php and flash files.

Ummm, actually yah you do need it. I'm not trying to be rude but to install the arcade games, you need to put it in .tar format into the /arcade/tar folder and then when you go to the ACP, you go to Components and then you go to install and you have to find that tar file and it breaks them all down into folders in the FTP and such and if it's not in tar format, it can't be installed in the arcade.
