No. They're not going to change the rules just so you can upload one file.
What the user above me means is that the file upload limit currently is only 2 MB and you shouldn't really need more. It's not a file hosting server just so you could upload things to it and use them. It's for websites.
I understand you might just want one file above 2 MB to be uploaded, but that's how it is. Sorry man.

We purposely set the file size limit below the size of a full mp3 to prevent them being uploaded.

Yeah but i want music in my site :)
But then if they upped the limit......people would start using their servers as a form of hosting MP3's....
It's good they have it to 2MB. This is for websites, not for file hosting. I say just be happy with what you get because what you get is really some of the best their is out there.

Some people music sites not intending on sharing mp3's but as to get their name out there by displaying some of their own work. As I am once i finish coding my website. In pursuit of maybe going futhure in production...
Anyway, you can always use soundclicks.com to upload your mp3's and post the link of the player on your site. Or you can learn the uses of flash audio player. Or you can use radio.blog:
its an easy setup plus the module will cut the storage space of any mp3 file by over 50%. It also allows you to play in a popup window so you can go on about your business on your websites.
