List of currently allowed file types?

I was wondering what the list of currently allowed file types are, and if .nfo files are allowed on here? Also, are carrier files allowed (steganographed files) or not? I figure instead of us always asking you could maybe sticky a current list of them. Maybe including those which will never be allowed, such as . files.
