View Full Version : New - Extract Zip Files in File Manager

You can now extract zip files to the server in the control panel file manager.

Just upload your zip and click the box "automatically extract zip" and any zip's you upload will be extracted to the current folder.

The file size limit for the zip is 10MB.
Normal filesize/filetype limits apply for files contained inside the zip.
If you choose to extract, the zip file itself will not be uploaded.

mines doesnt even extarct 95 kb

i put these in by FTP in the end and it wont let me upload the zip file to show you


i tried a ZIP files with just a txt file and it didnt work in the extract feature

I don't think you can upload through FTP. I uploaded once.....took a long time just to find out nothing was uploaded.....

You need to upload via your Control Panel.

You can not extract zip files by uploading them through ftp.

The only way to use the auto extract feature is to upload it via the web based uploader in your control panel.
