Hey, I always seem to come back here for help and it looks like im here again :)

After a sucessfull IPB installation and Mkportal installation, I tried to integrate my forum with Mkportal as it states it can do. But I eventually had to download a patch for IPB 2.2.1 to integrate with Mkportal...but that didn't work either.

My forum still loads as a seperate full page and not within the portal itself. I was given a readme.txt that had alterations needed to make the forum display inside Mkportal - tried it and my entire board went down.

So im back to the basics, again, I purchased a few skins from eXtremepixels.com in hopes of decorating my website, but when i import the ipb-skin....xml and ipb-images...xml then when I try to select the skin from the forum index I recieve this message:

IPB WARNING [2] ipsclass::require_once() [function.ipsclass-require-once]: Unable to access /hosted/subs/ulmb.com/m/p/mplayer/public_html/forum/cache/skin_cache/cacheid_5/skin_global.php (Line: 2116 of /sources/ipsclass.php)
IPB WARNING [2] ipsclass::require_once(/hosted/subs/ulmb.com/m/p/mplayer/public_html/forum/cache/skin_cache/cacheid_5/skin_global.php) [function.ipsclass-require-once]: failed to open stream: Invalid argument (Line: 2116 of /sources/ipsclass.php)

If anyone could help me resolve these issues it would mean the world to me for I have spent a nice sum of cash on the skins and the board itself. I've posted for support at IPS and Mkportal and at both places I wait for a response back so this was my last resort.

Thanks again,
aboutshad

You need to contact IPB.

And that I did and my skins problem seems to be resolved only now it looks like this:

It's so frustrating to progress a little then run into another barrier. I'm thinking about getting someone from eXtremepixels to come check this out now that i can display skins they are just not displayed properly.

Thanks,

That looks like a template problem, you should definitely contact them to help you.

Yes, it's just a skin problem. I've had that same problem with skins before, but it usually showed the whole page.

Try putting your skins into safe mode. Go to Admin CP>(search for 'safe mode')>Choose 'Yes'>Click 'Update Settings'
May or may not work, but your forum is having a cache problem, and safe mode disregards the cache and strictly uses the database.
