Its not illegal, its IPB 2.0 Trial, the last free version of IPB ever released.

No Offense. But the Trial are only Trials and have Limitation. Because my old site running a Ipb 2.0 (Trial) on the buttom there a trial License next to the version if its trial.

I was also sued because I just ignore i thought they wer just prank. but then the only free IPB out there is IPB v1.3.1 (Final) Anything that goes up are not free.

There a free version of 2.0 after PF3 although many people would not reccommend you to use it due to fact its has many bugs and exploits.

You cant get this on invisionpowerboard anymore because they dont support any old version. But its still free license.

NOTE: This isnt a crack or hack version of IPB..If you go to the Admin CP. You will find out that its Unregistered version. U can register if u want an update from IPB (but u have to buy a license)

EDIT: Ouch too many bugs...Cant add skin :( can only be added by upload it to ftp (but when u change the skin u will get error) and that the end of ur forum

Can't be that many bugs, well anyway i don't like phpbb because you have to mod it for it to become a desent forums, and i hate inserting code and replacing code, gets anoying.

IPB 2.0.4 and down is ALL LEGAL AND IS ALL FREE!!!!!! You just had to download it when they released it, not from anywhere else. You may not legally get IPB 1.3.1 or 2.0.4 anymore, only if you downloaded it form IPS.

I was sued because I was using a non-copyright ipb (Not Licensed) My site was reported to my local authorities (including my ISP) But it wasnt that bad. *Cuz I told them I didnt check my email yet* although I already read it..

Like I said IPB 1.3.1 was free..(Invisionfree is legal to register but there are some rules to follow and their copyrighted by invision)

IPB 2.0.4 was never been legal (for personal use) and free for everyone uses. You can download from their site when they first release it, But you have to register it and have the license.

If you say it was legal, Why dont you take a good look why there is a "Nulled IPB version."

Legal to download, But you have to purchase it at the end.

Also any version that has been not download from Invisionboard are consider illegal. Invision only release to the public when its new release (They dont provide a download that is old version)
