Hello,
Is there anything that can be done about removing the malware appearing on the free forum hosting account?
I am being told that malware/gambling website is appearing below my forums, this is NOT something that I installed.
Any help that can be rendered would be appreciated.

Thank you,

It's the Ads System. (Pop-Unders.) Only way to remove them is to upgrade your account to Paid.

I've recently found this out after turning off my popup blocker in Firefox, and in Internet Explorer, and disabling NoScript in Firefox. I wish something was done about it, because McAfee SiteAdvisor says that it's an exploit of some kind.
Perhaps someone can take it out of the ad rotation, or replace it.

Some anti-virus systems think that the way the system pops up advertisements (javascript) is a virus, it obviously is not. The anti-virus software is just saying it is because popup blockers usually can't block it.

Guess SiteAdvisor is correct, my antivirus detected this type of malware a few days ago:
HTML/Rce.Gen
I may need to upgrade my account, or switch to another host pretty soon, this may cause issues for my web users.

SiteAdvisor shows that *.ulmb.com is "green", and that they searched it and did not find any significant problems. It also shows that we only link to green sites.
User Reviews are unofficial and are just anonymous user's opinions.
We do not install anything bad on computers, if you find that malware is being installed from your site you need to make sure that you do not have any insecure code on your pages. This could be something you installed that puts content from another site, or something that was placed on your site by a virus on your computer.

actually, i believe you are wrong. No offense but I have the same issue.. And its annoying. I had a Scan on my Codes and there is not ONE problem at all.. And this has happened to two different Websites... So...

Go to SiteAdvisor, you can see that I am not wrong, ulmb.com and unlimitedmb.com are both green, we are not providing any malware.

There are some times that virus scan software falsely detects popups as a virus; when it obviously is not, it is simply poping up a window. If that is the case then it is probably just a problem with your virus scan software.

This is caused by the ads on the page, some virus scanners report the ads as a virus which they are not.
The best thing to do is to write an email/complaint to the makers of the virus software you use, include the URL of the site and explain that its a false positive that comes from the javascript.
You can upgrade your account and you wont have this problem.
The ads are served by an different company, so we cannot change the code.
