ok cool,
basically, an eot file is generated by Microsoft WEFT, its a tool, made to embed foreign fonts (ie. ones not installed on the viewers pc) into front page web pages.

if you know of a better way to embed true type fonts, then please let me know as it will save me a lot of hassle.
