Getting to Know the Flow

I am happy to locate ulmb.com and m glad to host site which has possibilites to grow on ulmb..but several things I have question on..

I know this is free hosting with not many annoying popups or banner ads...but it still has one popup.. which sometimes grow to big no...which is OK for free service but instead..

can it be possible that you have some advertisement not pop up like google ads on your forum here and your homepage.. which atleast are not annoying..

one small add on top in control pannel would not hurt..

everymember here I guess doent not care advertisement on control pannel but popup when someone visit yourname.ulmb.com is bit annoying.. and giving ad free support is not easy but having one banner add on ulmb site in forum and control panel should pay more with more user happiness..

They've discussed this in the past and are thinking about it.

No final word on what's going on though but this has been talked about before.

There is no chance that we will ever move to just an ad in the control panel. Think of it this way:
1 member gets 10,000 hits to their site. Say that for every hit it costs us $1 but if we put an ad on the site we can make $1. Well if we were to only put ads on the control panel then we would end up having to pay a $10,000 bill with $1 in ads revenue.
(obviously I used ridiculous amounts but that is truly what it comes down to)
