Default MySQL server Address
Before i say anything YES i have read the common asked questions thread...

I am trying to conect to my MySQL database through a server on my computer however my sevrer is telling my i am putting in the wrong mysql servername, which i thought at the time how can this be it is "mysql" right?

but.. is it? if it is it isnt working for me.. and could you please explain why

You cannot access mysql from anywhere except from a php running on your webspace.
