Default How do I upload files quicker than selecting them one by one?

Hi,

When I want to add files to my control panel, you have to browse and do it one by one. Is their a quicker way to do this?

If so, please could you tell me how.

Thanks alot,

Sphinx

Get an FTP Client.

If you have Firefox, there's an addon called "FireFTP". That's what I use some times.

You can also zip up all the files you want to upload and upload the zip file. (Remember to hit the "Extract" box before uploading the zipped file.)

I used to do this in the past quite a bit with a few users but the people I was helping weren't even trying to do it themselves so I just stopped caring...

If you really need help and are willing to try, I will do my best to help you out.

You need to configure it to connect to the server. You can use the FTP information found in "View Site Info" of the "My Websites" page in your control panel.

Remember to use the same password as your account.

This is for sphinx.ulmb.com. If you want to set it up for a different subdomain/domain, you will need to change the information appropriately.

Account Name: sphinx
Host: ftp.ulmb.com

Basically the "Login" area (like say the username part) is your website that you want to work with here on ULMB. Just put the main domain part like "domain.com". Don't put the whole "http://".
