Thumbs downFatal Error: Out of Memory

Every so often im getting an error on my site.
It happens every 10 to 15 mins whilst browsing on my site an has been happening for a few weeks now.

Code:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 8650752) (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in /hosted/domains/t/h/theory-guild.net/public_html/forums/includes/utf/data/confusables.php on line 1
After a quick refresh the problem goes away.

It happens when i browse these forums as well, but not as often.

Any chance we can get this problem fixed, as its getting really annoying now

**EDIT**
Just recieved this while trying to change my signature.
Code:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1048576) (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in /usr/home/ulmb/unlimitedmb.com/forum/profile.php on line 1804

The system administrator is working hard to fix the problem.
We have not been able to pinpoint the exact issue, but are investigating it, and will get there eventually.

This looks to be a problem with PHP, we are researching the issue, and have been for quite some time. We sincerely apologize for any problems this may be causing you. As you can imagine this is not something that we want to have happening.

The error seems to be a little deceiving because from the looks of it, you would think that well its simple: "the server is out of memory". But that has proven to not be the case. The server has plenty of memory, even in the highest of traffic, but php is still reporting the error.

We will continue to research the problem and are hoping to have a solution soon. We have another server that is on its way to the datacenter right now, when it arrives we will work on loading the web services to that server to see if that solves the problem.

Again, we are very sorry for the problem, and appreciate your understanding and patients on the issue.

Do you want me to run my forums in debug mode?
See if that can pick anything that might help you guys solve this problem?

To confirm, this issue is still affecting users, and the issue is growing. I also receive it very often when visiting this forum as well. Sounds like the servers need an upgrade!

Tyler, please note that I have heard from multiple places that this error can also appear when the high traffic of users is too much for PHP to handle at once, thus kicking some users to the error while it processes the others. No matter how good your server is, PHP has it's own limits as well.

Think of it this way. You have a house (server) with 10 people in it. There is plenty of food and supplies (memory) for everyone, but as everyone requests the same kind of food or supply at once (opening a website, etc.), the person serving the food (PHP) can't keep up with every demand at once, so some people are forced to wait (hence the lag before the error). If people wait too long, they get angry (error). I know this is a reeaaaalllly bad way to put it, but hopefully it makes sense to the people who don't understand what PHP is lol
