DefaultHow do I edit my layout?

Hey everyone,

Well I know this is really noob but i'm new to ULMB and i was wondering how do I edit my website. Do I use a program or do i do it on the site?

If I use a different program please tell me that name and/or maybe have a link to download it.

Thanks,

There is a basic html editor in the file manager.
If you want to setup a website quickly I suggest you use a content manager, you can just install it and begin creating your website easily.
Wordpress is good for beginners.

I would be happy to help setup a quick blog site for you which requires no coding experience. It would need login details but I need admin's permissions first If not allowed, then I can help but I'll need to find out a faster way

Html kit is a free well...umm...html kit that you can use to edit webpages.

But I sure there is 100's of basic web tutorials on youtube that will be of use.

The best thing you'd best go with is to make your index page into frames Frames allows you to convert more than 1 page into many pages. This saves alot of time if you'd need to add a new page to your navigation bar I have a script set in frames (And in HTML) and it shows 3 pages: The header (For your banners), Navigation (For linking to all your pages) and main (which is what all the pages will show up on when you click a link in your navi)

Frames are risky to use. They are rather outdated now.
You will run into problems with search engines opening the wrong pages, they are not really accessible for people with vision disabilities, and alot of browsers display them differently.
